The historic pavilion, on the shore of Little Detroit Lake, is a popular location for wedding receptions, dances, reunions, anniversaries and meetings. The building has a capacity of seating up to 450 people. A 27’ x 15’ stage area adjoins the 80’ x 48’ wooden dance floor. A maximum of 450 chairs and 50 banquet tables will provide seating for occupants. On-site restrooms and kitchenette area. Located adjacent to the City Beach and shady City Park.

The Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center can accommodate many different sized groups with our variety of event spaces, including the 716 seat Holmes Theatre, the 350 capacity Holmes Ballroom, conference room, and several additional spaces. Our event coordinator, set-up crew, and technical staff take the stress out of hosting your event. The DLCCC is located in the heart of Detroit Lakes, just off of Highway 10. Recreation and entertainment options are just footsteps away!

Tucked in the woods on the eastern limits of Detroit Lakes, Country Inn & Suites offers a cozy meeting room at a comfortable price. Perfect for your group meeting, reunion and private parties, and training/workshop sessions. With 765 square feet, we will arrange tables and chairs according to your specifications to accommodate 49 people. Ideal for presentations with wireless Internet, screen and LCD projector available. Easy access off Highway 10.

The AmericInn by Wyndham offers a poolside hospitality room that accommodates a variety of meetings or parties. The room has a 32″ LCD TV and DVD player. With 420 square feet and a 7.5 foot ceiling, the room comfortably fits a group of 25. The room has a private bathroom and patio doors that open to the pool area. Staff is available to assist with set up and arranging of food and beverage service.

If you’re looking for an economical location for your next meeting, contact the American Legion Club. Located across from the Detroit Lakes City Beach with a fishing pier on West Lake Drive, the American Legion Club accommodates approximately 175 in the hall area and another 50 in the lounge. Tables and chairs included. Microphone, screen and catering services available. Open year round.

The Kent Freeman Sports Arena is available for a portion of the spring and summer months when the facility is not in use for hockey. Two large cement floor spaces provide ample room for shows, festivals or conventions. One is 85′ x 195′ and another is 85′ x 200′. Seating capacity is 1500, with a sound system and overhead doors. For small groups and upwards of 200 people, Minnesota State Community & Technical College-Detroit Lakes campus provides an excellent choice for business training, workshops and meetings. Choose from one of three meeting rooms with LCD projector and big screen/TV screen, wireless Internet, flip charts, microphones. Open year round with easy access and parking off 900 Highway 34 East.
