LumberJack Festival – June 19-20

You’re invited to a weekend packed with food, live music, artisan vendors, competitions and unforgettable family fun at the LumberJack Festival June 19 and 20, 2026. The event starts Friday, June 19 at Noon at the Becker County Fairgrounds, 1330 Rossman Avenue, Detroit Lakes and concludes 5 pm, Saturday, June 20. Please bring a lawn chair.

The Paul Bunyon LumberJack show features competitions in log rolling, axe throwing, sawing, and more—alongside a marketplace featuring handcrafted goods, local artisans, and delicious eats from regional food vendors.

Join in on the fun with the Tough Man & Women Competition, Best Mustache and Beard Competition, FlapJack Eating Contest, Mr. & Mrs. LumberJack, Flannel Fashion Show, Best Loon Call, Youth Competitions such as firewood stacking, water carrying, gunnysack races and a whole lot more.

Whether you’re coming for the competition, the crafts, the food, or the fun—there’s something for everyone at the Lumberjack Festival! Hosted by the Becker County Museum.
