Kent Estey Art Exhibition
Experience “The Good Life” this summer in Detroit Lakes with artist Kent Estey’s art exhibit “Mino-Bimaadiziwin.” In a variety of mediums, his paintings express the colors and emotions of the land, sky and our region’s beauty.
Beginning May 1, see the full collection in three locations through Labor Day weekend:
• Becker County Museum (714 Summit Ave) – Original and prints of acrylic, oil, and ink paintings
• Ortenstone Gardens & Sculpture Park (28499 Randolph Rd) – Large scale digital reproductions along the Aspen Overlook Trail
• Washington Square Mall (808 Washington Ave) – Even more large scale digital reproductions.
The exhibits are open during each venue’s operating hours and are free and open to the public thanks to Project 412 Wave Maker supporters.
Kent Estey is a multi-medium Anishinaabe artist, author and speaker from the White Earth Nation of Ojibwe in Northwestern Minnesota. He and wife Becky own an art studio on the White Earth Reservation in Naytahwaush.
