
Art on a Stick Ribbon Cutting- Oct 1
Join us Wednesday, October 1 at 5pm for the Art on a Stick Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at DL City Park (north side between the Rec and the ballfield) 1355 Washington Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN.
Art on a Stick is a rotating public art exhibit created through a partnership between the City of Detroit Lakes Arts & Culture Commission and Project 412. Funded by Project 412 Wave Makers and a grant from the Blandin Foundation, the project brings vibrant digitized vinyl stickers—featuring a wide range of artists and mediums—into local parks.
The goal of Art on a Stick is to showcase artists while adding color and creativity to public spaces across Detroit Lakes. The current collection is displayed in four city parks: Detroit Lakes City Park, South Shore Park, Long Lake Park, and the Boys and Girls Club.
